Why use placeholder logos?

I create Framer design templates and Figma component libraries.

The Framer marketplace does not allow you to use real logos, so I started creating some fictional logos.

As a designer, logos are one of the first things a user sees. It needs to be clean, modern, not too attention grabbing, so it does not distract from the design.

You can have a nice looking set of placeholder logos to use in sections like social proof which is common for website design templates.
